We have a strong breeze that has arrived early this morning. You can see the breeze as it goes through the palm leaves or maybe it is best to say move the palm leaves. I took a moment to go out on my balcony and indeed the weather had become cooler changing from the heat that has been with us these past days arriving early. The sound ruffles the leaves and you could see the ripples intensify on the lake. This was a good time to enjoy it. It has been a long time since to be able to sit on the balcony as the temperatures are and have been in the 90′s. It seems that it will be that way for the weeks to come.
While sitting out here it has become a blessing each time I see G-d playing with the fowls of the air. At first it was only one and gradually other birds came to join in the fun. As G-d continued to blow His breath, the birds hovered and glided in the air as you would see with kites pulled by human hands. Finally the birds shifted and was playing in the wind with somersults, nose dives, whirly twirls, loop-to-loops (yes, I still use that word) and at one point they looked like they were playing tag. They were rather amuzing finding myself laughing out loud at them. This went on for several minutes until the rains came.
There was also a shuffle board game that was in full swing but there was a halt when the rains came much like you see in a baseball game, but no persons were dragging the tarp on the field here. They play that game over there as I see across the lake as it was a championship match. Indeed, I am curious enough to maybe get closer to see how the game is played and may learn it as well.
The ripples are increasing and the rain is falling, not enough to make you run in from the balcony as sometimes it does. The water hole, that is what I call the gathered water on the roof to the villa next door, is filling up. Many of the birds stop by there to either get a drink or to take a dip in the roof pool…lol.
Just as quickly as the rains came…it is gone. The sky is lightening up from the rays of the sun. I hope the heat will be a delay..Oh, there is more rain that has started to fall as the sunlight is increasing to shine through the clouds. Again, the rains have stopped as quickly as it started.
The shuffleboard game is over due to wet grounds. I will probably see them again on Monday morning. Ahhh…the heat of summer has come back and so I must depart my balcony back into the residence.
